Amid the global suffering caused by the coronavirus in 2020, I launched plans for my first solo exhibition at a warm and inviting curry restaurant, hoping to heal and comfort people with my artwork. Humans, like fruits, receive blessings in the course of living and each person has their own unique colors and flavors that brighten life. I believe this is the gift of life. I created a series of multi-colored versions of my artwork inspired by fantastical fruits, and made stickers and fortune cards featuring them. I hope that visitors to my exhibition can be healed and comforted by the atmosphere that it creates, even if it is just a little.
2020年、世界中がコロナに苦しんでいる中、私は自分の作品で人々を癒してもらいたいため、暖かい雰囲気のカレー屋さんで初個展の企画を立ち上げました。人あ間は果実のように生きながらにして恵みを受け、それぞれが独自の色合いや風味を持ち、生活を彩っている。これが生命の贈り物なんだと思う。幻想的な果物をモチーフにして、色違い版も作って、グッズのステッカーとフォーチュンカードを作りました。この展示の雰囲気で少しでも来場者の方々が癒されることを願っています。
